The Landlady - Roald Dahl

Following on from the short story illustrations for Roald Dahl I embarked on doing a full comic for his iconic short tale The Landlady. The style fluctuates a bit throughout the 15 pages but it's finally complete and now available to view in all it's creepy glory.

Roald Dahl - Someone Like You - Illustrations

I took this collection from the local library on holiday last year, probably around April/May time and did a couple of illustrations to some of these stories. Suitably macabre, Mr Dahl has a wicked way with grown up tales as well as the classic children's books.

I won't go into any detail for each story, there well worth hunting down and reading for yourselves. Roald Dahl is such a treat for illustrators and his work has inspired many an interesting interpretation of his imaginings.
